[Kecia Mack]: Hi, I’m Kecia Mack. I am the instructor for Stitch it 2 ‘em. It’s a fashion designer program for the youth ages 4 to 18. This is something I want to give back to my community. And let these kids know that this is something you can carry on in your life. What’s very important to me. We are reading. They have math involved, social skills, and also the sketching part that’s involved with drawing and learning to sketch their own designs and creativity.
[Camera cuts to Connie Lerner, Vice President of HSFA, who is seated in her office.]
[Connie Lerner]: This is such a great program. It is amazing to see the kids at work. Child development is such an important part of our health and human services program.
[Camera cuts to Eric Brown, President, HSFA, who is standing in front of a library.]
[Eric Brown]: Seeing these young people go to class every week and study hard and learn, and then to see them go from there to the runway, it’s absolutely amazing.
[Camera returns to instructor Kecia Mack.]
[Kecia Mack]: I was in tears, looking at them and how far they came from day one.
[Fade out] to CFC’s “show some love” collage at the top with blue, yellow, green, orange, and pink circles each with “show some love” in white font.
